In a few weeks, my "work" is going to slow down, and I will do some more work on the site. I would like to see some new moderators, especially some performance and nailhead guys. What do you think? Who would you suggest?

I would like to do some more development on the site. What would you like to see? I know of sites which offer nothing, but are more popular than this one. Does anyone enjoy the features of this site?

I was considering adding "bogs". It offers a "news" feature which can be posted to by anyone with Buick news. The news can be related to anything "Buick", including YOUR last trip to the strip or show! Would anyone be interested in posting to it if I started it?

Now that I have solved the server problems for now, where should this site go...? graemlins/beers.gif

What do you want?

How can we make the site more attractive, interactive...? Is there anyone who would like to put together a news letter?

In the mean time I am really enjoying working on my recently aquired '67 GS400. I am trying to decide on what I am going to do for wheels and tires and searching for a posi.

Should I do a page on the little things I am doing with the car?

Bob,

I wonder if Tom Telesco would moderate or co-moderate Nailheads (I will PM you his email).

I think it would be neat to follow your upgrades on the 67. I would also like to see more of your earlier project as it makes its way toward rolling in the sunlight.

It just takes a while to find all that there is here, but I see many links to this site on some of the other Buick sites. I should have more for you in the race section, but I have given up guessing when my car will come home from the chassis shop.

Bob,
I dont know what sites you are comparing to ??? The Chevelle site that Al runs is very popular but.....there are a heck of a lot more Chevys out there than Buicks. I personally think this site is great, just dont know how many Buick enthusiasts there are out there ?? ANything I can do to help, just ask. My time is limited, but I will try my best.

Thanks for the vote of support Bill! I realize that the buick site will never be a match for a chevelle site, but I would like to think that we should be able to encourage more performance talk. It would have been nice if the "bracket racing" forum would have been more active. Regardless, I am going to do some more development on the site this winter.

Bob, I know the site you are referring to, and your right, it is popular and doesn't offer much in the way of reference material. However, many of the guys that participate in that board, also belong to this board and frequently direct people here to get information. I think the other site has gotten to the point where we cannot compete with it, so we may as well compliment it by developing a more comprehensive and correct library of Buick reference materials. In my opinion, this will help this site stand out and eventually become the one-stop shop for Buick enthusiasts. There are a lot of great guys on both sites willing to help out and support other buick enthusiasts and I don't think anyone would sit by and let either site falter. Just my opinion.
