Can anyone tell me - since I am curious - how many 67 Buick Electra 4 door hardtops ARE STILL OUT THERE? About two weeks ago I found a real beauty and I'm wondering how common or otherwise they really are? Can anyone fill me in, or direct me to a resource which can help me with this?
Anyone want to form a club, or be a penpal?

Hi 67electra
I just got a 69 electra 2door a couple of days ago.
I'm searching for some items for mine.
I live in the Carson City NV area, and I've seen some 67's in our area.
I'm a member of the GSCA #838 not to many guys there w/ 225's.
Have you checked the BCA web site yet??

Hi! No, haven't checked out either of those. Where can I go to do that? Can you give me the URLs?
My car's up in Edmonton right now, some gasket work and replacing the springs. It sat from 1974 to 1993 - didn't turn a wheel so the springs are a little sagged. Otherwise, it's in excellent, excellent shape and I think I was very lucky to find it. Got to be at least a 2 - possibly even a 1, and all original. The interior is like brand new. The exterior shines like new - just has a few highway experience marks on the hood - who can escape those! I can't wait to get it back.
Please tell me about your '69.

hi 67
try www.buickgsca.com (http://www.buickgsca.com) or www.buickclub.org (http://www.buickclub.org)
the gsca deals mainly w/gs's but you might occasionaly see some land yacht info.
the bca is all models of buicks, better chance there.
i bought my 69 jus a few days ago, got it for $200.00 !!
its a model 48257 2 door w/the 430, needs some body work but not too bad overall. everything is all there including a/c.
been sittin out in the nevada sun for 8 years, vinyl top is still intact but pretty sun beaten.
i was surprised that it doesnt have electric windows. the only luxury on this car is the a/c!
future plans for the motor is the new fuel injection kit from ta performance in phoenix, az, i think its still in development. hopefully soon it'll be out on the market.
talk to ya later
