Don't know how we could find a way but, would it be possible to tag the topic of the message in order to go quickly to the most interesting?
I think that we all love some specifics eras of Buicks, but you have to come often and browse a long time to extract the messages corresponding to your period.

example:
I own a Buick from the Fifties. Maybe a specific header in the subject of the mail (such as FIFTY http://www.buicks.net/forum/smile.gif could help to browse rapidly into the deep forum messages forest ...

I am sure a person more capable than myself could easily come up with something, but I just had a look at some of the scripts and I don't think I will be able to do much to help in the near future.

I guess you will just have to plow through a lot of less interesting postings. You might try the search, it has some good abilities to set parameters. Or you may just have to develope a broder interest in other years...
