i was wondering does anyone know how much nitro a 63 nailhead can take safely?with stock parts if any at all?

No2 would not be a great idea with the cast stock pistons. I can attest to what detonation alone can do to one without any power adders. With the right build up a Nailhead can stand a good shot of No2, but you would have to build it with that in mind.

i know a stock honda with a 1.8 can take 8 pounds per cylinder however much that may be so i thought maybe a nailhead could to but i should have thought about the age and technology with the nailhead also thanks for the info

"Nitro" or Nitrous?
I'll have to check at Gartlits but i think TV Tom was running Nitro/gas blend.
Maybe not.

Ivo was running a blend, but he also had forged pistons.cast pistons and Nitrous is asking for trouble
