cCurrently have a rebuilt 401 .060 over, mild cam and decided to drop my compression to 9.5:1 for obvious reasons.....so my question is, what, if any, HP would I increase by going back to the original (10.25:1) or by even raising it a little higher?

anyone know of any calculations for this equation??

these formulas came from edelbrock: hpq=engine horsepower required to reach mph in quarter mile\ hpq=(0.00426xmiles per hour)x0.00426xmiles per hour)x(0.00426xmiles per hour0xweight of car= for example 110 mph in a 3200 pound car would be 329 engine hp\\\\\\\ you can order the new edelbrock catalog and it has about 15 different formulas in the back
