My name is Stephan and a proud owner of a 59 Le Sabre. This is my first post to the list. I just had the radiator re-cored. When installing it a coolant leak occured from the top of the water pump and the connecting tube between the cylinders. You now the one on top of the pump. Had a new gasket made but the problem is still there. Is there some special procedure to follow when installing the "cross flow tube" (don´t know the right name) to the pump? Any suggestions and advice is greatly welcome.

Problem solved. I went shopping to a industrial hydraulics shop that specializes in different seals, hoses and connectors. Bought a sample of different seals (o-rings) and managed to get one that actually works. Talked to another Buick guy today and he told me that the original gasket/seal is in a timing gear gasket set. What did I learn from all this? Well I don´t know but I´m pretty fast in removing the generator, PB pump, hoses and belts.
