Hi everybody,
My name is Stephan and a proud owner of a 59 Le Sabre. This is my first post to the list. I just had the radiator re-cored. When installing it a coolant leak occured from the top of the water pump and the connecting tube between the cylinders. You now the one on top of the pump. Had a new gasket made but the problem is still there. Is there some special procedure to follow when installing the "cross flow tube" (donīt know the right name) to the pump? Any suggestions and advice is greatly welcome.

Problem solved. I went shopping to a industrial hydraulics shop that specializes in different seals, hoses and connectors. Bought a sample of different seals (o-rings) and managed to get one that actually works. Talked to another Buick guy today and he told me that the original gasket/seal is in a timing gear gasket set. What did I learn from all this? Well I donīt know but Iīm pretty fast in removing the generator, PB pump, hoses and belts.
