I have a cracked flywheel on a 401 out of a '65-1/2 skylark gran sport conv. I haven't been able to find a replacement but have found a flywheel from a '70 - 455 that will fit all but for the bolt holes. When I align the weights the bolt hole on the 401 align with the spaces between the bolt holes on the 455. Can I drill the 455 Flywheel to align with the bolt holes on the 401, or will the drilling throw off the weight and balance?

Don't try this, you may be able to "bolt it on" but it will be WAY out of balance. Keep searching for the flywheel. I havn't seen you post a wanted add?

I have a 401 flywheel if you still need one.
