Can anyone give me a source for a gas tank for a 64 skylark convertible? Also, does anyone know what other cars have the same size tank? Thanks for the help.

I believe your tank is beign reproduced. Check with Poston or Year one. Of course all '64-'65 "A" bodies have the same tank, BUT, the fillers are different so they won't fit! BUT, You can unsolder your filler and put it on a Chevelle tank. My brother did this on his '65 Convetible. This was about 10 years ago and the tank was still available from GM.

Thanks Brian,

I have browsed the Year One catalog but did not see one. I will check with Poston's. Recall any prices? Thanks again.

You could be in luck if you come across an Olds tank and would not have to change anything. The tank on the 64-65 Olds F-85/Cutlass is the same as the Buick Special/Skylark tank for those years. All use part# 381445 if that helps. Station Wagons use different tanks.
