What are the stock colors that were available for my 66 Skylark? Also, since I have to redo my int, and ext, does anyone have any favorite "stock" color combinations?
Thanks,
Michael S.

Michael,

Here are the 66 colors listed in a reference book: Regal Black, Arctic White, Astro Blue, Midnight Blue, Blue Mist, Seafoam Green, Verde Green, Turquoise Mist, Shadow Turquoise, Burgundy Mist, Flame Red, Saddle Mist, Shell Beige, Silver Mist and Cream.

You might want to get a paint chip card for 66 Buicks. I would not know where to find one. I have one for 65 that is very old that came with some other information. It has Ditzler Automotive Finishes on the top, and reads Pittsburgh Plate Glass Company on the bottom. If you can not find a card, an automotive finishing store (usually an auto parts store that specializes in paint and bodywork products) will have a books with paint chips matching the colors listed above for 66. I think you will want to get a look at paint chips to help you decide on the color.

BTW - I think that purplish color I mentioned is Platinum Mist, and it was a 67 color. Have fun!
