Any body know what body parts will interchange with a 38 coupe.Need a r/r fender,can't find steel or glass.The body is pretty much complete,can get it for $700.00. What do ya think?---wamp--

Just from going by part number lists, there isn't much that matches. The right rear fender is a #1302806. The only other GM car using that number was the 38 Buick Century. Here the assumption is your car is a Special.

One of these can probably be found, but it may take a while for one to turn up in one of the clubs, on ebay, or where someone parts out a whole car. There's always Hemmings Motor News to scan through in case you haven't tried it.

As far as 1938 cars go, this one isn't that rare. A drastic but possible step would be to buy another whole parts car to make one good one out of the two.
