Depends if a potential buyer cares if it has the original paint/color. If you're not intending to sell it, paint it whatever color YOU like. But, you will do better when it comes time to sell if you at least paint it an authentic color for that particular year and model of car. My '70 Riv is currently a cream color, but I'm planning on painting it with a gold that was available on the Riviera in 1970. ------------------ 1970 Riviera 1996 LeSabre And many Buicks in the past. gstewart 10-19-2001, 11:03 AM if u are going to change the colour be sure that it is a correct colour for the year of your vehicle and also that the new colour is compatible with your interior colour . certain interior colours were only available for certain exterior colours . gerry |
