Yesterday I purchased a '68 Skylark convertible and it came with 2 extra '69 doors. Can the power windows, wing vents, etc. from the '68 be fitted to a '69 door? Has anyone ever done this?
Questions, questions, questions.
Thanks,
Dale

I am not sure about your doors, but did you get a rear view mirror with those doors? I am looking for a rear view mirror for the passenger side for my 69 conv.. I am not sure if the drivers side would flop to passengers side but would like to keep them the same. let me know. MDutra5650@aol.com

I did get a driver's side remote operated mirror, but I am certain that it would not work on the passenger side. At this point, I am not sure if I am ready to part with it though. I just got the car last Monday and I am trying to figure out exactly where I want to head with it.

I don't believe these parts can be swapped. The 68 doors have some spots where the window channel bolts in that the 69 door doesn't. I am pretty sure, but if you take the door panels off, you should be able to get a good comparison look.
