Hi I am new to this site and I have a question that hopefully someone can help me with.
How do I get to the antenna motor from my 87 grand national to replace it. The motor hums constantly with the antenna up. The antenna does not go down. I removed the fuse to stop the motor from running constantly.
If anyne can help with this it would be appreciated. I'm thinking about removing the skirt inside the fender as my first means of attack, will this give me access? The only other option I see is removing the fender, please tell me that it is not that involved!

GN,
I dont know for sure about your GN, but on my wife's 84 Riviera, you have to loosen the bottom few fender bolts and pull it away from the bottom of the car. Its a real chore trying to reach in and get the bolts loose. I would recommend trying to get a copy of the service manual to see the exact procedure. On the Riv. if you dont do it in just the right order, it can drive you crazy.
