Hi,
I recently found a two-pages document with the 1951 Buick paint code from the Dupont company.
My VIN plate on the dash says that my paint is: Paint 1 ABD (?)
The shop manual says that you need the Buick master parts book to make the code corresponds with the paint company code.
Does anybody able to make such a correspondance? What was my car original color (i suppose it was black)?
If my code are useful, i would be glad to send it to the Buick site.
