Hi!

Has anyone done an air ride suspension in a 65 Skylark.

I don't want to offend any purists but I'm thinking of doing one. The car had cut springs when I acquired it and most trim shaved. It has quite a good hot rod forward lean which I quite like but is a bit of a handful to drive.

If anyone has done one or can direct me to any areas which explain the litle details of how to do this I'd be v grateful.

I hope I've not upset any purists but this Skylark is basically a running shell with no interior and trim - just a reasonably healthy motor & trans and solid shell. It would cost a fortune to restore to it's former glory what with a whole new interior and all the small details so I thought I'd have some fun with it and do something diffrent.

regards & thanks

Butch,

Thanks for this - I have actually contacted Brian at Ridetech who has been very helpful and also Rob at Master Image Customs who, when I asked what support I could get - in the way of tech how-to's or install instructions told me that I had just had 20 minutes on the phone from him.

What I am looking for is someone who haas done it before - I guess all A-body frame's are the same - and can give me those tips to avoid the pitfalls and what systems, set-ups and brackets work best.

Also are there any web pages that anyone has written does anyone know of?

regards & thanks
