THANKS Dr. Frankenbuick 03-09-2003, 04:14 AM Here (http://www.buicks.net/cgi-bin/forum/ultimatebb.cgi?ubb=get_topic;f=16;t=000047) is a thread for that swap in a 66. It is the same in 65 (frame and mounting points are basically the same from 64-67). The TH 350 is the same length as the ST 300 and they share the same yoke size. This would require less work to install, but I would suggest you have one rebuilt with the 455 in mind. You will also need the rear sump 455 pan and pick-up (it may already be on the enine you want to use), big block springs for the 67 GS 400 and the large front sway bar for the 67 GS 400. I would think about upgrading the fuel line and pick-up to 3/8". The 65 has a 5/16" line and pick-up. The big block Buicks from 67 on used the 3/8" line. Hope that helps. smile.gif |
