I'm inquiring of the ages of some of the members of this site and trying to see if there is a correlation between age of members and age of vehicles. For example, I was born in the 70s, raised in the 80s, and now living young adult life. It only seems fitting that my favorite buicks are the 71-73 buick rivs, the 87 grand national, and the late 90s-present Buick Park Aves(super charged of course). Tell me if there is any merit to this. P.S. I'm only 27 years old

Well, I was born in '49 raised through the '50's and 60's and like those decades with a lesser attraction to the newer end (still turn my head, but). I like the GNs and T-types too. smile.gif 53 years old.

K,
Born in 1950 I am 21 going on 53 smile.gif ....have been a car nut since day one. I like any type of unusual or muscle cars. My signature shows what I own at this time. Would love to find a nice 49 Roadmaster as that is what my grandfather used to have and was the first car I ever actually drove.
You are only as old as you feel !

I was born in 1933 ,but i still like the cars that go "rumpity rump" The GNs and T types are very quick, but I still like the old torquey 455s. I also like the straight 8s, because they are the engine that made Buick a common name in the 30 s and 40s

Well, I don't know if there is a scientific coorelation. I was born in '60, and brought home from the hospital in a '61 LeSabre pic-a-dor, then was taken to kindergarten in a '64 225 convert. And one of my favorite memories was going with my Dad in April of '74 to pick up the LeSabre conv. that now sits in my garage. Bone stock. graemlins/shield.gif Made all my mistakes transplanting the 394/slim jim out my Super88 and replacing it with 455/TH400. Ain't gonna change a thing on my Big-B

Hi ,
I'm 48 and since I was a kid I noticed my heart had a different sound .In fact the only person who understood my pathology was a mechanic who said it run like a 60 v8 .
So ,in my case ,I don't know if there's a correlation between age and age of cars : I'm a genetic case!

Age doesn't matter ! - as like 'beauty' is in the eye of the beholder. (2 x 31 approaching 2 x 31 1/2). As long as your in good health, you can be whatever age you want to be. smile.gif

Im 17 and have a car that is 20 years older than I am. No one I know ever expected me to own a classic car. But I have sweet looking 1965 Skylark. So does a 20 year difference matter? I think not!
