Who likes to come to this site on a regular basis? What do you like about it, and what do you think needs to improve to make it more competitive with more popular Buick sites on the net?

I bought a 1950 Special Fastback (4dr) in Oct. and I've been "hanging out" since about then. I've picked up some excellent info on straight 8's and stuff. Right now I'm having difficulty research the paint code (08-1?). I noticed that several of the sections are missing this kind of info. I realize that it might be impossible to get, but when people find it they should be able to deposit it somewhere...

For factual information and advise I think this board far surpasses many of the more popular boards. I like it as there is little if any off topic posting. The only drawback I can see is that a large group of "members" are one or two time posters only asking qustions relating to late model cars, not that this is a bad thing, just that it may be driving away enthusiast types.

I am sorry, while I do have the '50 paint chart waiting for me to update the site, the code format does not show on it.

I agree with the large number of late model Buick owners who are looking for help, and just posting for that purpose. When I last rearranged the board I was hoping that they would stay in the "troubleshooting" and "tech" forums at the bottom of the page and all enthusiasts would find places in the other forums.

While the "troubleshooting" and "tech" forums attract some posts from enthusiasts, it seems to have worked to some degree. So how do we make the site more comfortable for "enthusiasts"?

maybe seperate sections for pre-63, Muscle Cars & Late Models?
