My 87 Lesabre Power steering line let loose the other day just pulling out of my driveway:jeez: I got it up on the ramps and found it was the low pressure line, the long one. Found it was leaking between the steel line and the rubber right in that steel union. So I cut the rubber line there and the steel and just put the steel line right into the rubber hose with to hose clamps.:D I figure it should last for a while being low pressure. Looks like a bear trying to get a new one in there:clonk:and save 60 bucks for a new one. Is there any reason my patch should not last?:car:
