I'm looking for a heater valve for a 1964 Buick lesabre non air, im having trouble finding one all i find is one for a 65' with the vacuum nipple on top, i need the one with the cable attached to it. i guess you can call it a manually activated one. Mine is not leaking but it broke of its base and welding it back could destroy it. if any one has any idea where to find one or how to fix it please help. thanks

It's not welded, it's soldered.

Ebay only, unless someone on this or other Buick sites may have one. For the most part it won't be cheap as it's a one year only part. I do have an NOS one, but am saving it just in case. I have actually taken mine apart & rebuilt it on my '64 Riv. years ago. All the rebuilders say it can't be done, but I did it!!!!

both of mine are screwed as well - gonna use JB Weld to put it back together, once I get the butterfly working smoothly
