I have a 95 Lesabre and looking for a little more horsepower. I was thinking about pulling a S/C from a PA to bolt onto my Sabre...Is this possible? Would I need to swap the tranny too? The tranny that is in the Sabre now only has 34,XXX along with the motor so I would like to keep it in the car if it is possible.

I kinda wanna do this because I like the Lesabre body more than the Park Ave but I want Park Ave preformance. And i know where to get the S/C for around 100 dollars and it seems like it would give me that little boost of HP I would like.

Also I am looking into getting a preformance chip for the computer, so i can add a few horses and get a little higher idle. Would I have to buy one specific to the Park ave since I want to supercharge it?

Note this is something like a sleeper project... I know this is a grandma car...I just want a little more pass outta this class.

The transmission you have should work fine if you do this swap. The supercharged Park Ave's have a deeper final drive gear ratio that also helps them have the extra pep. Which also lowers their fuel economy a bit. Just adding the supercharger by itself will add power, but maybe not as much "seat of the pants" acceleration as having both. I hate to just send you off to another site, but I was researching this myself awhile back and found that the Pontiac people that have supercharged Gran Prix's etc. are nuts for these things and make and sell a lot of parts for them that probably could easily be adapted for your Buick. Do a search for "supercharged Pontiac" or G Body Performance and you should find one or two sites specializing in what you are looking for. I don't remember for sure if they are G body cars or not. But when you find the sites I would give one of those places a call and see what they say. I'm sure that they will have plenty of advice on the price and feasability of this modification.

so bolting on the s/c won't rag out the tranny will it? would i still be able to use the same throttle body that is on the car now? or would i have to buy a larger one? I am looking into buying a K&N filter, the box filter seems like it is so restricted.
