I am looking for info on swapping out the V6 in my 1962 Special convertable with a SB Chevy and TurboHydro 350. Any ideas?

The sheetmetal at the transmission hump will probaly need to be cut. the th350 is a longer tranny than the dualpath, possible driveshaft problems, and don't forget that car has a c/v joint as well. Also the weight might be an issue. A buick 215/198 weighs around 300 lbs. fully dressed and the all aluminum dualpath weighs another 100 lbs. Just a thought.:thumbsup: |
