Hi all, new issue here...
Last winter I parked my car for body redo and put her back on the road few days ago...
She wasn't a race car but she was good to me last year, but now she run like a drunk !!
Less power, missing if I floor the accel, rough iddle, don't have to tell you how I'm disapointed !
I tried with a mecanic friend of mine to improve the tune up with a bench of those years, and we didn't reach a better run....
I was thinking about my gasoline..... could it have evaporate or percolate or wahteverate so that my motor doesn't work as he did ????
Tell me if I'm on the way and if you guys have better idea ???
Thanks!

Gag-

Did you use fuel stabilizer before the winter? Also, did your mechanic check the distributor cap and coil? Weak ignition components can cause problems.

Does it "feel" like an electrical problem or a fuel problem?

Hi, no fuel stabilizer:clonk:, coil is OK cap not too bad, seems now more a fuel supply problem to me, after improving timing yesterday and refuel with new 98 unleaded, my baby commes back to a decent ride.
Still having a problem of missing under WOT or if I floor the gas....
I have an AFB Carter 4bbl, gave 1 notch more to the accel pump (in the middle hole now) witch is better when I leave iddle, but I don't know if I should check for the floats or the main gas pump first.....
Any help welcome !

Sounds like it might be the gas. I had a similar issue with a car that was stored 10 years and had to replace gas tank, fuel lines, two electric fuel pumps and a pressure regulator before it ran right. You may have to drop the tank and see what the inside looks like and what the gas smells like.
