Hi guys, this is kind of an idiotic situation, but I locked my trunk and now the key wont turn back to unlock it, any clue on how to unlock it from the inside?

Short of that the only thing that comes to mind is to drill out the lock cylinder from the outside. Start with about a 1/4 drill bit dead on center and increase the bit size until the tumblers fall out. It should then be possible to unlock it with a screwdriver, then find a new cylinder and rebuild the unit. Remove the seat rest, remove the lock. Take the handle to a locksmith, and see what he can do. Or just take the car there. |
