Can some one help me out? I'm looking to replace the shocks on my 48 Roadmaster, I also want to avoid a future problem at the same time. I just came off a web page about Kanter Auto Parts being very slow on shipping, never answering phone calls for your questions, and being rude aswell. I would rather not get involved with something like this. Where else can I buy a set of front shocks for my Buick, does anyone know?? Thanking you in advance. You can see what I'm talking about if you go to your search engine, and type in Kanter Auto Parts member reviews, I stumbled on this page looking for their home page.

Jryki, a member on this site, posted pics and text about refurbishing these shocks himself, might be easier than you were thinking. he is on the members list so you could contact him for a link or I might be able to hook you up from my saved favorites. I have a 48 Buick 76s and used shocks. If you want them rebuilt you could do what I do. Have a 13 year old Google Apple Hydraulics or White Post restorations they are in Hemmings motor news and both rebuild those shocks. I want to try Jryki's instructions to redo my shocks. Best Regards Greg J.

I like Kanter and give them high marks. Perhaps they were thinking of CARS which is the seller about whch we so often see complaints.

Where can I buy rebuilding kits, not just the seals. A complete kits with bushings and all. I would love the challenge to rebuild the shocks.

I can only go by what I read, I'm not saying they're bad, or good. I don't want to get into any contests with anyone. I want to avoid a future problems.

Please go back and try to locate the Kanter complaints, sounds like you mean CARS site. I'm not able to find complaints about Kanter.

Kanter - They sell complete exhaust systems for some cars. Their catalog says call for pricing of individual pieces. I've called them three times trying to get a price for a muffler and tailpipe. They take my name and number and

They Never Call Back!

They are way overpriced on most items as far as I can tell, and they don't like having customers as far as I can see. I think they will be out of business eventually.

If you work there and see this contact me.

CARS Inc sends wrong parts they don't fit the application and are reluctant to offer refunds and then you pay twice for shipping their mistakes back and fourth.
