Anyone else have any trouble with this? It just wants to sputter and not die when the ignition is off....I think it may be my timing due to the fact that I have some overheating issues even after all cooling components have been changed.....So if its the timing do I turn the Distributor clockwise or counter?

Clockwise to advance, but I think you should get a timing light.
