As you may notice we now have a "Blog" feature in the menu bar above. If you've ever wanted to have a website for your car, this is a great opportunity! Do it:)

I hope that Members will be able to do things like Blog their projects or offer articles on how they solved a problem with their car. Perhaps some members would like to offer tech articles, especially some of the pro builders out there.

Here is an example of what you might like to do with a blog:

Remember, Blogs are not for asking questions! That is what you do in the forums!

The first bit for discussion is uploading images or/and using attachments in your blog.

Your options are:

Use images from a personal album somewhere on the net. This is not a bad option, but if you ever move or delete your images the links will all be broken...:(
Use file attachments. This will encroach on your file uploading limits in the forum, nor can you place them "inline" on your aticle.
Upload to the showroom. I think this is the best option. For images you only wish to display in tech article etc., make yourself a "Private" album in the showroom. Resize your images to suitable dimensions (not too big) and upload them the album. When you are doing your article, have two windows open. One for your article and the other in your album. The album displays "cut and paste" links which you can use in your article. Do not use the image icon in the icon menu above the wysiwyg editor for image placement. Use the linked image code in the upper "copy and paste" window under the your image in the private album. It works great!
So let's get with it, Happy Blogging!

Hello. I have just created my first blog, and do not understand how to put a photo in it. I am not very computer literate, so please bear with me.
My photos are all in Kodak Easyshare software on my computer. Is there an easy way to move one from Kodak to my blog - somethng I can do easily?
Thanks for any help.

Here's a stab at an answere for you.

Create a folder on you computer for saving upload pictures to.
Highlight or open an image you want to use in your Blog in the Kodak program.
In the upper right, click on File, then scroll down and click on Save As.
In the Save In: , find the directory you made for uploads and click on Save . If you wish while you have this window open you can rename the image to something more friendly.
You are now ready to follow this instruction from above:
Upload to the showroom. I think this is the best option. For images you only wish to display in tech article etc., make yourself a "Private" album in the showroom. Resize your images to suitable dimensions (not too big) and upload them the album. When you are doing your article, have two windows open. One for your article and the other in your album.
