The radiator in my 64 LeSabre has sprung a leak. I've already had it patched once and I suppose I could have it re-cored, but I'd really rather get a new one. Mainly because the car has become my daily driver and the last fix didn't hold. And I realy do not want to crack one of those aluminum heads. Trouble is, the radiator shop guy says "My book only goes back to 65." AHRGH! If I owned a Chevy ,I bet he could rattle of the part number. The car is a 1964 LeSabre with a 2BBL 300V8 . Any body know a part number I can give the guy? I 'priciate it.

Sorry, Joker. My search has proved fruitless. :confused:I'm having my local radiator shop re core the original unit. They do good work. I intend to do some mods to the engine, so I may end up fitting something bigger in there somewhere down the road.:shield:

My brother, who is more dogged than I, says that a radiator from a 64/65 Sport Wagon will fit in a 64 Le Sabre. There's one listed on the Radiator Barn web site for $187. He says the part #s match. I'm still waiting tho see if my old radiator is salvageable.

Hello there..after having some overheating problems...I went to summitracing.com and found a radiator that dropped right down in there..and I also had to buy a transmission cooler...all and all about 225.00 to get this back on the road....with tax and all included..its a aluminum radiator...very nice and very easy to swap out..just had to find a different top radiator hose...hope this helps

The 64 and 65 Sport Wagon use the same radiator as the 64 65 Skylarks if that helps.
