anyone know where and what it takes to get a power steering conversion for my 49 super? i want simple. want to keep my column and all that. i emailed the guys at french lake like someone else posted. but i was wondering for some other helping hands. i blew a cylinder in my brakes...i think im going to convert to disc and power brakes. anyone have some says on that? im taking out the old belt fan and throwing in an electric, any words on that?

I have a power steering gear I purchased for my 53 as well as the pump and at least 1 of the lines. I have about $350.00 invested in those parts but decided to use a later frame so if you want just make me an offer and I will ship them to you.

A backet kit for the disc brakes along with a list of parts needed to use later Buick calipers and rotors is available from scarebird at a reasonable price.

If you use an electric fan you will probably need to change to 12 volts but that is no big deal.
