Have new rubber weather strip for trunk and was told that it should be installed to the trunk lid itself and not to the inside lip of the (gutter) body on a 1955 Buick Century.

I've got a '55 Special and the weatherstrip is on the trunk lid.I've always wondered if there should be more,but every other '55 that I've seen also has it on the trunk only.My trunk does not leak so I assume that's where the weatherstrip belongs. :shifter: :waving:
