just wanted to know what my car should be capable of in the quarter mile..I have a 75 olds omega(yeah i know, not buick..lol) with a 72 buick 455 4bbl out of an electra225. th350 trans, manifolds with dual exh. non posi 2:41 gears out back. the engine is bone stock, only mod is HEI ignition system and electric fan. im changing the gearset to 3:42 in the future(heh, that should wake her up..)

lemme know what you think, or if you have a similar combo, id like to know what the timeslips are.

Questions like that are full of guess and speculation. The best way to find out is to just take it to the closest strip and make a few runs, then you know what your combination is doing and where it may be improved.:thumbsup:

i realize that was a pretty general question, tough to tell exactly what a timeslip would be.. still fun to drive, gets a bit hairy when its wet out, lol
as for the posi, its on the way. along with 3:42 gears.

another question i had is concering 1972 skylark/gs hoods, as i am buying a skylark next month and want to convert that to a gs, i need a hood(car doesnt have one) i've looked online and cant locate much, anyone have any ideas/parts for sale? the grille, bumper and headlights are also missing, so if you got parts please let me know!

As for the poll on how far i spin, i've actually measured that out, 163feet. yep. lol (ok the tires are lame too, but i had fun doin it!) lol:thumbsup:
