I used the Scarebird disc brake conversion kit on the front of my 62 Invicta last year. The installation was fairly easy and the results were incredible. The car stops so much better, with no brake fade, and I feel much better about driving in heavy traffic. The disc brakes have saved my bacon several times already when I had to stop quickly, and are worth their weight in gold. I highly recommend them for any car that is used daily. The only thing that Scarebird did not say in the instructions is that you absolutely need to get an alignment when you are finished installing their kit. This year I will convert the rear brakes to disc.
