from your pics, that is a 1975-'80 engine, as it is blue in color

I am a bit confused. The block casting # is 1241748 which indicates a 72-81 455. But the intake casting # is 1242015 which indicates a 72-73 350. The head casting # is 1241860 which indicates that it is a 73-74 455. But it has a 6-bolt valve cover. Can you help identify?

the 6 bolt valve cover indicates that it is a 350 engine

455's have 5 bolt valve covers, and they were only made from 1970-1976
