Description: (2) 1947 BUICKS 2-door fastbacks (Sedanettes) for sale. Rat rod, Hot Rod or Restore. One is a SUPER, with a VERY nice body, with good floors, doors, and front fenders (no hood), has 1 rear fender (its rough), sitting on a 1982 Cadillac rolling chassis. Has Grill assembly, radio, most dash stuff, steering column and wheel, rear seat and related area parts, more. Glass, is mostly usable, still has the Swiveling Antennae on top of the car with the handle inside. The other Buick is a ROADMASTER, aprox. 75% complete , Has engine (320 cu in OHV Inline 8), manual transmission, . Has steering column, no steering wheel , missing back of front seat, misc. Body needs work, floors have rust issues, as does elsewhere. Has doors, hood, fenders, etc.. The Super Body would make this car, in my opinion. These were my sons cars, he moved 3 years ago, time for them to go. Both cars do roll,, have NO TITLES, can get you bill of sales from my son in Montana. $1500. for the pair and all their parts. Description: Here we have a Rare 1946 model 51 4 door sedan with clean Ca. Title. I car is about 85% complete. I have most of the parts to complete the car. There is some rust along the rear fender areas and this is why the rear fenders are off. I have the gravel guards, front seat lights are in the seats, fender skirts, door panels most trim pieces, air cleaner, headlights and extra bazels. Plus many more parts. I have a complete extra dash with gages off a 48 buick for extra price. I do not have the key so I have not tried to start the car. Description: 1949 SUPER Sedan, 3sp. Black. Interior is original. Re-paint outside. Brakes redone. Starts up and runs great. Kept inside all its life has a little rust due to damp storage. Great 20 foot car. Drives down highway just fine. Just spent two weeks with the car and drove it flawlessly around Burlington. Over 300 miles. Located in Milton, Vermont.

Description: 248ci overhead valve, straight 8 Fireball Dynaflash engine with 3 speed manual transmission. Built in Atlanta, sold to FLA buyer where it resided for all but its last 3 years, one owner for many years, displayed in dealer showroom for several years, moved to CA in 2006 and AZ in 2007. Car is registered and drives nicely. Car was restored with new paint and cloth interior several years ago. Paint is good and there is no visible rust except for a couple of dime sized surface rust spots on roof and a small blister on truck lid. Chrome is wonderful except for a small blemish on right rear bumper. All gauges & lights work. Radio lights up but does not work. Wiper vacuum motor needs to be rebuilt. There is no heater or defroster since it was an option that was not ordered. Rebuilt starter, generator and voltage regulator have <1000 miles. Rebuilt transmission, clutch, carburetor and engine head have < 300 miles. Brakes work very well. No parts seem to be missing and all seem to be as specified except larger tires. I replaced engine breather tube with a PCV valve for a cleaner engine compartment. I have the original tube. The engine, rear end and hydraulic shocks leak oil a little, a customary problem for this vintage. I have an oil pan gasket and bearing seal set but have not yet installed it.

Description: One (1) of only 5,987 Series 50 convertibles manufactured by Buick in 1946. Assembled at the Flint, MI plant (VIN: 14471741) this car retailed for $2,046. Equipped with a 248 cu. in. "Inline 8" (Engine #46542735) and three speed manual transmission (column shift) which appears to be factory original and numbers matching. Vehicle has the long wheel base option (Body #L2490), four (4) wheel hydraulic brakes and the "gunsight" hood ornament. The body has no rust issues and was repainted by the previous owner approximately 20 years ago. The power top feature is fully functional which raises and lowers the white colored top.
